As promised, we have a brand new layout! How do you all like it? It was made by Natalie once again. I had help from Linny with a few coding problems and I thank her so much! There isn't anything new on Lara today but I have a few site related updates for you all! First of all, just last month, Aussie Star celebrated 2 years being online! Can you believe that?

I've updated a few of the pages on the site celebrating the new year. Lara's biography and filmography have both been updated. I completely re-organized the icon section and you can find it here. The signature page was re-organzied as well. And lastly, I finally got around to adding a "costar" page. I want to say thank you to Juli for the inspiration for the page.

Lara has been nominated for two AACTA awards for her role earlier this year in "Cloudstreet"! Congratulations Lara!

The awards presentation will be January 31, 2012. Fingers crossed that Lara attends and we have new images!

It looks like our girl has not only booked another role, but is already filming on set right now! Not much is know about the project yet but here's what I do know. It's a TV series based on books and it's a crime, drama, mystery genre. Lara will play the daughter to the main character - who in-coincidentally played her mum in "Cloudstreet" as well! That's right, Essie Davis. Lara will play Ruth Fisher. The tv series is set in the late 1920's of Melbourne. It will be released sometime in 2012. For more, visit the IMDb page. This is just a small update today but I couldn't resist. I'm finally getting around to the behind the scenes and deleted scenes clips from the official site. So today I made a clip of our girl being interviewed in one of the bts clips. I've added it to the youtube channel and I'll add it to the video archive as soon as I can. But take a look below! I hope to add more in the days to come!

So sorry for the downtime but today I have some great updates! First off, I've finally added the rest of Lara's Cloudstreet clips to the site and to the youtube channel. So be sure to check those out because Lara really shines in them! Also, Cloudstreet is coming to DVD October 20! It will have tons of special features and behind the scenes footage too! Hopefully more Lara to be seen! So far, I've only been able to find the DVD available for PRE-ORDER in Region 4. That means people in the USA won't be able to view the DVD. Hopefully there will be a Region 1 DVD release too.

If you haven't checked out the Cloudstreet Official Site lately, you really should. There are several media additions including tons of behind the scenes and extra things. I hope to add some to the site soon.

Did anyone get a chance to watch Lara in Cloudstreet last Sunday? I don't have those channels so I couldn't, but an anonymous friend recorded it for me and so I watched it yesterday. Lara did a fantastic job in her portrayal of young Rose Pickles. I only wish she would be in this sunday's episode but unfortunately, she won't be. I've made clips of Lara's part but she had so much screen time that I've decided to split them up. I'm only posting the first 7 clips today; which included the first hour of Part 1. I'll post the rest of her clips probably next week. I am uploading the clips to the Aussie Star Youtube Channel right now, so if you don't see them there just yet, check back in a few minutes. I'm also uploading the 7 clips to the videoarchive too so if the links don't work, just check back in a few minutes. Along with the clips, I've added 2 new promos for Cloudstreet.
